Home Alive, a Capital Hill-based women’s self-defense group, is in big trouble.

Established in response to the rape and murder of Gits singer Mia Zapata back in the early 1990’s, the organization has never been able to rake in tons of dough. Now, however, Home Alive’s Capital Hill office, located just blocks from Seattle U on 10th Ave., is doomed to close for good.
