Parents will soon get to save the placenta their kid snuggled in before she was born.

Spectator Web site to be redesigned

The Spectator’s Web site, su-spectator.com, and its blog, blog.su-spectator.com, will get a makeover in August.

The current design is a year old, and editors, especially myself, were ready for a fresh, more modern look with more versatility for covering events large and small.

For a rough sneak peek at the front page of the site, click on the image to the left to view a larger JPEG. Note that the current su-spectator.com has picked up some of the looks of its upcoming replacement, including the new masthead.

The Spectator’s site is hosted by College Media Network. CMN has a new content management system, College Publisher 5, driven by Polopoly, a division of Atex. College Publisher 4, our current content management system, was templated and required more manual coding to change the arrangement on pages.
