The fifteenth Mikrofest took place nearly all day Saturday at the Hall of the Woods just outside of Olympia. The event was organized through the label Brown Interior Music by Andrew Dorsett and Mark Morrison. More than twenty bands, mostly from Olympia and the surrounding area, played between 1:00PM and 2:30AM the next morning. The series has been taking place for about the last three years and, as opposed to other music festivals that span out over several days, Mikrofest’s intention is to squeeze everything into a matter of hours.
