Maurice Clemmons, alleged police killer, shot dead by police

UPDATE | The Seattle Times has a few details here. Various news media are now reporting that Clemmons is dead.
3:25 a.m. Tues–Police responded to South Kenyon Street in Rainier Valley early Tuesday morning in their search for the suspect in the Lakewood police murders.
Scanner traffic indicated that Maurice Clemmons, the suspect in the murder of four Lakewood police officers Sunday, had been apprehended and transported to Harborview Medical Center.
A Seattle Times reporter on the scene tweeted that a law enforcement source has confirmed that Clemmons is in custody. The reporter also has that Clemmons challenged police who approached him and was shot as a result. Police have said Clemmons was wounded Sunday in a struggle with one of the police officers at Forza Coffee in Lakewood.
Seattle Police media relations tweeted that there was an officer involved shooting at the 4400 block of Keyon Street and that public information officers were on their way.
Laughing and a celebratory mood was discernible on the scanner at around 3:14 a.m. Tuesday.
