In honor of Martin Luther King, Jr Day Monday and in the wake of the historical inaguration this Tuesday, it’s a good idea to take a moment from the rush-rush of our lives and take a look back at our collective past. Sunday, President-Elect Barack Obama gave a speech at the Lincoln Memorial. In it he harkened back to the immortal “I Have a Dream” speech given by the great Dr. King on the same steps in 1963. We face a lot of challenges to come. The dream may not have been completely realized, but we are one step closer. For a moment, let’s take a moment to relive the great words of Dr. King and cherish, for a moment, how far we’ve come.
